Without a doubt, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has become one of the most cherished films of 2024, receiving widespread acclaim. The impressive box office performance of the film serves as an inspiration for numerous upcoming movies, setting a high standard to strive towards.
According to Great Andhra’s report, there are rumors suggesting that a particular scene in the movie might have taken inspiration from the Japanese film, Rurouni Kenshin.
To clarify, the sequence under discussion showcases Allu Arjun relentlessly fighting against his adversaries, complete with thrilling and dynamic action sequences.
It’s being whispered now that the sequences of actions draw inspiration from a Japanese movie, where martial arts replace traditional hand-to-hand fighting techniques.
Furthermore, Rurouni Kenshin is notable for its lack of extravagant action scenes like the acrobatic, seemingly weightless leaps characteristic of Sukumar’s filmmaking style.
Nevertheless, although much discussion has taken place about this topic, there has been no comment from either the creators or the actors regarding their inspiration for it.
Moving forward to Pushpa 2’s remarkable success at the box office, it’s clear that the movie has effortlessly surpassed the Rs. 1000 crore milestone, positioning itself as the second-biggest earner of all time – a title particularly notable in the Telugu-speaking regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Recently, it was revealed that an updated edition of the movie featuring Allu Arjun will be released, boasting approximately 20 extra minutes of never-before-seen content from the film.
This new version will hit the big screens from January 11, 2025, onwards.
For those unfamiliar, apart from Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 also features the leading roles of actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil making a comeback.
