Netflix unveiled the authentic teaser for their initial English-language medical drama series titled “Pulse,” which is set to premiere on April 3, 2025.
In a sudden turn of events, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms gets promoted due to Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips’ suspension as a hurricane approaches Miami’s busiest trauma center. As the storm worsens and the hospital goes into lockdown amidst a surge of trauma cases, the tension between Danny and Phillips escalates when secrets about their complicated and illicit relationship surface. The rest of the ER team struggles to cope with the fallout while handling their personal and professional challenges under the intense pressure of life-or-death situations. For this close-knit group of doctors, saving lives is usually simpler than dealing with their own issues.

What happens in the Pulse trailer?
In simpler terms, the video presents Willa Fitzgerald playing Dr. Danny Simms, a third-year resident who unexpectedly takes over as Chief Resident when a hurricane forces a hospital lockdown. The preview offers audiences a sneak peek of some key characters such as Justina Machado (from One Day at a Time), Colin Woodell (The Continental), Jack Bannon (Pennyworth), and Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day).
The series “Pulse” is spearheaded by Zoe Robyn, who serves as both creator and executive producer. Additionally, she shares showrunning duties with Carlton Cuse from “Lost”. The cast includes Jessie T. Usher, Daniela Nieves, Jessy Yates, Chelsea Muirhead, Néstor Carbonell, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, Arturo Del Puerto, and others. The series is also executive produced by Carlton Cuse, Kate Dennis, Bradley Gardner, Emma Forman, and Michael Klick. Kate Dennis will be in charge of directing the first two episodes.
