PUBG Mobile SMG Tier List (2025): All Submachine Guns, Ranked

As a gamer in PUBG Mobile, I can’t help but be a fan of submachine guns (SMGs). Despite not being the most powerful weapons out there, they make up for it with their simplicity and raw power. Newcomers often find them useful during the early game and close-quarters battles due to their ease of use, while even seasoned veterans appreciate their reliability.

All Submachine Guns in PUBG Mobile, Ranked

There are six SMGs available in PUBG Mobile.

Small Machine Guns (SMGs) are great for short to mid-distance battles because of their minimal recoil, light build, and swift time needed to eliminate an opponent. These characteristics make them a favorite among many gamers.

In our SMG rankings, we categorize weapons into three groups:

1. The top-notch SMGs fall under the S-tier, these are our highest-performing and most favored SMGs.
2. The A-tier consists of average performing SMGs that don’t quite reach the exceptional level of the S-tier but still hold their own in combat situations.
3. Lastly, the F-tier includes the worst-performing SMGs; these weapons may not meet the mark when it comes to damage output, accuracy, or overall effectiveness.

We’ll delve into the reasons behind each weapon’s placement within its respective tier.

S-Tier

The S-Tier SMGs are:

  • UMP45
  • MP5K

The top spot goes to the UMP45, an adaptable submachine gun renowned for its well-balanced characteristics. The UMP45 showcases controlled recoil, satisfactory attack distance, and impressive damage boosters. Its performance can be optimized with strategic attachments and loadout configurations.

In second place, we have the MP5K – a versatile firearm that boasts a rapid firing speed and minimal recoil, making it user-friendly. This compact powerhouse excels in close-quarter situations due to its exceptionally quick Time-To-Kill (TTK).

That said, the best SMGs in PUBG Mobile are the UMP45 and MP5K.

A-Tier

The A-Tier SMGs are:

  • Tommy Gun
  • UZI
  • P90

Both the Tommy Gun and Uzi are recognized for their astonishingly fast firing speeds, making them quite similar.

Nevertheless, while the Tommy Gun shares some similarities with an Automatic Rifle (AR), it stands out due to its distinctive extended magazine that holds a large number of rounds. This feature, coupled with its ability to inflict substantial damage, makes it an excellent choice for gamers who enjoy prolonged combat situations.

As a gamer, I can vouch that the UZI shares some similarities with the P90, particularly for those who thrive in drawn-out firefights. However, it’s got its own unique twist – it dishes out a rapid succession of bullets at the cost of lower damage. Yet, both weapons are quite distinct due to their intricate recoil patterns when compared to other submachine guns.

F-Tier

The F-Tier SMGs are:

  • Vector
  • PP19

Sadly, the lowest rank, labeled as ‘F-tier’, encompasses the poorest Submachine Guns available within the game. Generally speaking, the Vector and PP19 should be avoided if possible; they’re typically only useful when there are no better alternatives.

The primary factor causing their low rankings is the weak damage multipliers they possess, leading to poor time-to-kill (TTK) ratios. In certain instances, pistols can outperform the Vector and PP-19 Bizon. We urge developers to address this problem and restore the playability of the Vector and Bizon.

Each time I hop into PUBG Mobile, I find myself curious about the top-tier SMGs. It’s crucial to know which ones are shining right now as they can make a significant difference in my gameplay. Of course, the effectiveness of these weapons can fluctuate based on individual skills and strategies.
