Starting today, PS Plus subscription holders in 15 countries will experience a price hike, with more regions also confirmed by Sony. Although the increase might be disheartening, there’s some good news: The upcoming April 2025 lineup for both PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers has been unveiled. As an added bonus, PS Plus subscribers now have the opportunity to acquire free Downloadable Content (DLC) for one of the exciting new games included in the Extra tier.
PS Plus players can get free DLC for new Extra game
Among the numerous top-tier games, Hogwarts Legacy is now included in our Extra category. This game offers a captivating experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the freedom to roam the iconic Hogwarts castle and the expansive open-world environment that surrounds it.
Playing this game is certainly worthwhile, regardless of whether you’re a devotee of the Harry Potter books and films or not. The gameplay is top-notch, and the visuals are stunning. Plus, you have the unique opportunity to craft your very own wizard or witch, who will be assigned to one of the four iconic Hogwarts houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin) by the legendary Sorting Hat.
Regardless if you’re a fan of Harry Potter or not, this game is really enjoyable due to its great gameplay and beautiful graphics. Plus, it lets you create your own character and find out which Hogwarts house they belong to with the help of the Sorting Hat.
If you’re playing Hogwarts Legacy using your PS Plus membership, remember that you can grab some cool free DLC from the PlayStation Network (PSN) store. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, this DLC includes a sleek Onyx skin for the Hippogriff, which is compatible with both PS4 and PS5 systems.
Your skin looks stunningly beautiful, making it a great choice for soaring through the castle on the most splendid bird. Additionally, there’s a Dark Arts DLC pack available for only £4.49, which is 75% off its regular price of £17.99. However, please be aware that this DLC can only be purchased if you already own Hogwarts Legacy, and it may be removed from the game in the future.
According to a well-known source, the launch date for the remastered version of Oblivion is set for next week.
