In a recent revelation, Mallika Sukumaran, a seasoned actress and mother of Prithviraj, has disclosed that the upcoming film is not Mahesh Babu’s SSMB29 as widely speculated, but rather a project featuring her son.
On a Facebook post by an actor, a seasoned actress responded to a commenter who suggested Prithviraj’s appearance was created by AI. In her reply, Mallika clarified, “It’s not AI-generated. His next project is from Rajamouli’s film and he’s leaving tonight. Haven’t you fact-checked before jumping into conclusions? Why don’t you ask for details instead?
In his post, Prithviraj didn’t share many details about his upcoming project but wrote, “Complete and deliver the film along with all marketing materials for your directorial debut. Prepare for your next role as an actor. Discover that there are extended speeches in a language not native to you and begin feeling anxious.

Discussing the upcoming movie SSMB29, it’s known as an action-packed jungle adventure featuring Mahesh Babu in the lead role. This epic film, helmed by director SS Rajamouli, boasts a massive budget estimated at around Rs 900–1000 crores, placing it among the costliest productions within the Indian film industry.
According to TopMob’s exclusive report, it seems that the film is being developed as a two-part project. Filming is expected to run until 2026, and the first part of the movie might be released in 2027, with the second part potentially coming out in 2029. Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been cast as the main female character for this grand production.
In the future, Prithviraj Sukumaran will star in the film L2: Empuraan, which he also directs. This production stars Mohanlal as the main character and is a follow-up to the 2019 release Lucifer. Additionally, Prithviraj has been cast as a leading actor in the upcoming movie Vilayath Buddha.
