Prithviraj Reveals Secrets About SSMB29: What’s Really Going On?

Previously circulated news hinted at Prithviraj Sukumaran collaborating with director SS Rajamouli for the movie, SSMB29, featuring Mahesh Babu as the main character. However, further casting details have been kept secretive so far. A recent update indicates that John Abraham might be stepping in for Prithviraj’s role instead.

At present, there’s no public declaration about it yet, but the work on the anticipated project by Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli is moving rapidly. The long-awaited collaboration between these two industry stalwarts officially kicked off this year with a traditional prayer ceremony.

The upcoming film, either known as SSMB29 or SSRMB, is rumored to offer a globe-trotting jungle adventure like no other seen in Indian cinema. Furthermore, TopMob exclusively reported that Priyanka Chopra Jonas will star as the main female character, marking her return to Bollywood films.

Furthermore, it’s been shared that both actors are participating in workshops and script readings for the movie at present. This highly anticipated film project is rumored to be produced with an enormous budget of approximately Rs 90–10 billion, and filming is set to commence from April 2025.

Moving onto Prithviraj’s professional scene, you can expect him to resume his character as Zayed Masood in the upcoming Lucifer series installment, titled L2: Empuraan. This movie, which Prithviraj will direct, is slated to provide insights into both the prequel and sequel aspects of the 2019 film.

The movie features Mohanlal as its main protagonist alongside significant performances from artists such as Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Indrajith Sukumaran, among others.
