As a fan who’s been captivated by the mesmerizing worlds of Persona and The World Ends With You, the reveal trailer for Prisma has sent my heart racing! Being a connoisseur of unique narrative experiences, I can’t help but be intrigued by the concept of meeting multiple versions of oneself in an unfamiliar realm.
The creators of Cris Tales have unveiled a brand new game called Prisma, and we recently got our first look at it through its debut gameplay trailer during the Latin American Game Showcase.
What is Prisma about?
In this story, you take on the role of Alma, a youthful woman endowed with peculiar abilities by an antique camera. Suddenly, she finds herself transported to an alien realm that’s completely foreign to her. However, it appears that she isn’t the only one who’s undergone such a transformation.
In this novel world, she encounters multiple distinct variations of herself, each with unique objectives and dreams.
The outcome – whether the various Almas form alliances or become enemies – is entirely determined by the choices the player makes.
Prisma blends Latin American and Japanese cultures, combines classic role-playing games with modern mechanics, and presents a multi-dimensional narrative from various viewpoints.
Through the lens of your camera, you can change the way you view the world and act accordingly.
This game boasts a distinctive appearance and draws inspiration from acclaimed titles such as Persona and The World Ends With You. It creatively infuses its own elements into both mechanics and narrative.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the upcoming turn-based RPG from Developer Dreams Uncorporated. They’ve made it clear they want to deliver an extraordinary experience with breathtaking visuals, compelling narratives, and epic battles that will keep me on the edge of my seat. Excitingly, they’ve announced they’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign soon to bring this game to life!
The game will be released for PC via Steam, but sadly there is no confirmed release date as of now.
In the meantime, as you eagerly anticipate the release of Prisma, don’t forget to take a look at the latest trailer!
