What do we know about the Prince Charming movie?
The filmmaker who oversaw the initial Paddington films, directed 2023’s Wonka, and contributed to the plot development of the forthcoming Paddington in Peru, will not only be taking on the directorial role but is also teaming up with Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker for scriptwriting. At this moment, the cast and other production crew members for the upcoming movie remain undisclosed.
At present, there’s no information available on the upcoming movie titled “Prince Charming.” However, Deadline’s report clarifies that this project does not relate in any way to the tale of Cinderella. While the character Prince Charming originates from Cinderella, the term “Prince Charming” is now commonly used to refer to various love interests across different Disney Princess stories.
Beyond his roles in Paddington and Wonka, King has been active in television since 2004. He was an associate director for the British horror spoof series Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, and later directed the British surreal comedy series The Mighty Boosh, including its stage show adaptation. In 2020, he helmed two episodes of the Netflix sitcom Space Force.
