Neon has unveiled the concluding trailer for its upcoming horror movie by Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh, titled “Presence.” After making its debut at the Sundance Film Festival last year, the film is set to hit cinemas on January 24, 2025.

The video focuses on the supernatural events that a family of four encounters in their newly acquired home, narrated as if by the unseen spirit itself. Additionally, the trailer hints at internal conflicts arising among the family members as they grapple with the entity’s deceptions and unsettling presence.
As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but share my excitement for “Presence,” a captivating production directed by the talented Steven Soderbergh. The screenplay was penned by the brilliant David Koepp. In this film, Lucy Liu takes on the role of Rebecca, Chris Sullivan portrays Chris, Callina Liang brings Chloe to life, Julia Fox embodies Cece, Lucas Papaelias plays Carl, West Mulholland is Ryan, and Eddy Maday delivers a compelling performance as Tyler. This cinematic gem is produced by Julie M. Anderson and Ken Meyer, with Koepp and Corey Bayes serving as executive producers.
A family settles into a suburban home, growing increasingly certain they’re sharing it with an unseen entity. This being is present even before the family moves in, observing their private, awkward moments. It swiftly maneuvers through the house at speeds beyond human comprehension. It seems particularly interested in Chloe, the teenage girl who doesn’t enjoy the same warmth from her mother or brother. This presence appears to have a purpose, and as days pass, it subtly reveals its intentions for achieving its goal.
