As a devoted Dead By Daylight fan who’s spent countless hours stalking through foggy maps and screeching like a banshee at unsuspecting survivors, I can’t help but get excited when it comes to new cosmetic collaborations! The upcoming Horrors from the Deep Collection and Noir Collection look fabulous, not to mention the Alien Romulus crossover. But what truly has me biting my nails is the rumor of a collaboration with a popular horror-themed manga or anime.
Dead by Daylight boasts numerous unique killers and survivors that fans love, yet it’s the collaborations that tend to excite them the most, whether we’re talking about new chapters or skins. Some fantastic cosmetic additions are in the pipeline officially, but there’s a rumor suggesting that Dead by Daylight might introduce horror-themed skins inspired by popular manga/anime in the near future. This hasn’t been verified yet, but fans are optimistic about the possibility of a collaboration with Junji Ito.
As a lifelong gamer with a deep passion for horror games, I am thrilled to learn about the exciting new developments coming our way in August 2024! The upcoming cosmetics, featuring noir outfits and the Legendary Rain outfit to celebrate Alien Romulus, have already piqued my interest. As a fan of both cosmetics and horror games, I am eagerly awaiting the release of these new items.
As a longtime fan of both cosmetics and pop culture, I can’t help but feel excited about the upcoming releases for this month! From the mystical underwater themes reminiscent of ancient mythos to the captivating black-and-white noir aesthetic that harkens back to classic films, these new cosmetic lines are sure to appeal to a wide range of fans.
Dead By Daylight leak claims “popular manga/anime” skins are coming soon
During the Dead By Daylight 2v8 mode preview livestream, BeHaviour Interactive revealed the following upcoming skins:
- Horrors from the Deep Collection – August 6th
- Skins for The Dredge and The Blight
- Noir Collection – August 13th
- Skins for Jane, Jonah, Haddie
- Alien Romulus Collection – August 16th
- New Legendary Rain outfit for Ellen Rip
Prior to the start of today’s livestream, the Data Breach (DBD) leaker, RuthlessLeaks, had hinted on Twitter that within the upcoming months there might be a partnership for cosmetic items with a well-known manga/anime. This potential collaboration could possibly be unveiled during tomorrow’s stream.
It wasn’t revealed in the 2v8 mode stream, so this isn’t official as of writing. There’s also no shared release, but “the next couple of months” could possibly refer to September or October. RuthlessLeaks is considered a reliable leaker for DBD mobile, but they claim this upcoming crossover is fore the core experience on consoles and PC.
Responding to your question about potential hints, RuthlessLeaks simply stated that “The anime is horror-themed.” While this isn’t a significant clue given how closely tied Dead By Daylight is to horror content, it could potentially help in narrowing down the list of possible anime or manga options.
In approximately two months, we’re planning to launch a beauty product line in partnership with a highly recognized manga/anime series. We might unveil this exciting news during our upcoming live broadcast.

In response to the news about the leak on Reddit, numerous comments express sympathy by saying “sending prayers for Junji Ito.” Known for his popularity in Japan, Ito is a respected manga artist known for creating unsettling and grotesque works like Uzamaki/Spiral.
Although Junji Ito is widely beloved by fans, there’s speculation about adaptations of Death Note, Hellsing, and Berserk as well. Many comments express this hope too.
Indeed, at this point, these details aren’t yet confirmed since they’re leaked information. Fingers crossed that they materialize into reality, considering the amazing anime/manga-inspired skins we’ve seen from Attack on Titan in the past.
