It’s undeniable that Prabhas stands among the most active stars within the Indian film industry right now. His slate of pan-Indian productions is extensive, and it continues to grow more diverse and promising each day.
It appears that for quite some time, fans and followers had anticipated Prabhas’ next venture to be either Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2 or Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. However, recent reports indicate a possible shift in plans. As per Gulte’s report, Prabhas is now engaging in discussions with director Prasanth Varma about the possibility of joining the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
At present, Prasanth Varma is engrossed in the project titled “Jai Hanuman,” which can be seen as a continuation of his hit film “Hanuman.” The production for “Jai Hanuman” is set to start shortly, with Rishab Shetty cast as the character of Lord Hanuman.
Currently, Prabhas is anxiously looking forward to the debut of his future project titled Raja Saab, which is helmed by Maruti. The film is slated to hit theaters in April 2025, but there’s growing apprehension due to the scarcity of promotional activities from the production team.
After Raja Saab, Prabhas has likewise pledged to star in Fauji, an epic set in a historical period directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the director of Sita Ramam. Given the film’s theme, it appears that its production will require considerable time.
Beyond that, actor Prabhas is set to feature in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s movie titled Spirit, taking on the role of a tough police officer. Given his busy schedule, it looks like Prabhas might not start working on Prasanth Varma’s upcoming project for about 3-4 years.
It appears that the eagerly awaited follow-ups for Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar: The Ceasefire may experience substantial delays due to recent changes in plans. Previously, filmmaker Prashanth Neel announced that Salaar Part 2 would start production imminently, but it seems Prabhas’ schedule has undergone adjustments.
It’s indisputable: Prabhas continues to be a highly sought-after actor within the movie world, frequently accepting challenging, grand productions which cement his position as an undeniable superstar.
