The states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, impacted by the floods, have captured the attention of people nationwide. As efforts continue to offer support in every way possible, South film icons Prabhas and Allu Arjun have come forward with generous donations to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, aimed at helping those in the affected regions.
Discussing the renowned actor Prabhas, he recently donated an impressive amount of 2 crores rupees to the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund. He divided this contribution equally between the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, offering 1 crore each. Prabhas’ generous act is a substantial show of support for the victims affected by the flood crises in the Telugu regions.
Similarly, like Allu Arjun, much like others, generously contributed a significant sum to aid flood-stricken victims. On his platform X (previously known as Twitter), the star of Pushpa publicly announced his empathy after observing the hardships and sorrow endured by numerous individuals in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In total, he donated 1 crore rupees, evenly divided between these two states.
He wrote, “I’m saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In these challenging times, I humbly donate ₹1 crore in total to the CM Relief Funds of both states to support the relief efforts. Praying for everyone’s safety.”
Besides Prabhas and Allu Arjun, megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela has also extended commendable financial aid to the flood affected victims of the two states. Earlier this morning, the actor dropped an official update on the matter.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Chiranjeevi announced that he has contributed Rs. 50 lakhs to the disaster relief funds for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with the intention of assisting those affected by the floods in their rescue efforts and ensuring they have shelter and safety.
He declared that he would donate a total of 1 crore rupees, with half going to each of the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He hopes that these difficult times will come to an end swiftly, ensuring the safety of all people involved. (Informal translation)
