Prepare for an icy spin on your beloved toaster pastries! Pop-Tarts is now moving into the frozen section, introducing a fresh lineup of ice cream pints and sandwiches. This summer, let Pop-Tarts take you on a nostalgic flavor journey through the freezer aisle.

Kellanova, the company behind Pop-Tarts, revealed plans last week to merge breakfast and dessert into a single product line. They aim to do this by incorporating “rich ice cream with flavorful swirls and pastry-style chunks” in their pints, and offering “pastry-styled ends filled with flavors” for their ice cream sandwiches. These sweet treats will be offered in three varieties: Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Frosted Strawberry, and Frosted Chocolate Fudge for the sandwiches, while the pints will come in Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Frosted Strawberry, and Frosted S’mores flavors.

According to Kellanova, they haven’t given a definite launch date yet, but they plan to start releasing their products, initially focusing on sandwiches, in stores like Walmart this month. The ice cream pints will be available later in the summer at certain retailers.
