Recently, TopMob held a poll to determine the upcoming superstar in South Cinema, and after tallying the votes, the winner emerged with a narrow lead. It’s no shock who the online community has chosen as the next rising star in the entertainment industry.

As a devoted fan following the electrifying race of potential candidates, I found myself presented with an impressive quintet: Fahadh Faasil, Sivakarthikeyan, Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Vijay Deverakonda. Initially, it seemed that the Aavesham star was destined to take the lead; however, the Amaran actor swiftly closed the gap.

Initially, Dulquer Salmaan appeared to be in the lead and looked like he would definitely win, but in the end it was Sivakarthikeyan who took the crown with a close margin. If you thought so, congratulations—Sivakarthikeyan ended up winning the poll with 28.82% of the votes, while Dulquer Salmaan came in second with just slightly fewer votes, securing 28.24% of the total votes cast.

In the end, Prithviraj Sukumaran ended up in third place with a share of 22.94%, just behind Fahadh Faasil who had 12.94%. Interestingly, Vijay Deverakonda got the least number of votes, with only 7.06% being cast for him.
