Peacock has unveiled the official trailer for the long-awaited second season of “Poker Face,” Rian Johnson’s renowned murder mystery comedy series. The show is set to resume on May 8, 2025, with the premiere of its first three episodes. Fresh episodes will be available every Thursday thereafter.
For Season 2, the show centers around Natasha Lyonne’s character, Charlie, who possesses an extraordinary talent for detecting lies. This season finds Charlie embarking on a cross-country trip, meeting fresh faces and solving crimes as she goes.

The video gives a sneak peek into Natasha Lyonne’s character Charlie’s upcoming adventures as she tackles fresh cases nationwide. In the first television venture by Rian Johnson, titled “Poker Face,” Tony Tost takes the mantle as showrunner. Johnson, along with Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman, serve as executive producers. The series is a collaborative effort between T-Street and MRC Television. Since its premiere in 2023, it has garnered an almost flawless Tomatometer score of 98%, based on 114 reviews. In recognition of her exceptional performance in Season 1, Jill Soloway was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
