As a huge fan of Poker Face, I couldn’t be more excited about the addition of Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, and Kumail Nanjiani to the cast of Season 2! Having witnessed the exceptional performances from the star-studded lineup in Season 1, I have no doubt that these new talents will bring yet another layer of depth and intrigue to this Emmy Award-winning series.

Rian Johnson is the brainchild behind “Poker Face,” a Peacock series that has earned an Emmy Award. Natasha Lyonne stars as Charlie Cale in this captivating show. Its debut season aired in January 2023, and just a month later, it was announced that a second season would follow.

Who has been added to the Poker Face Season 2 cast?

According to Deadline’s report, the upcoming season of Poker Face will include appearances by Esposito (known for Breaking Bad and Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Holmes (Batman Begins and Brahms: The Boy II), Hoffmann (Eric and Transparent), and Nanjiani (The Big Sick and Only Murders in the Building) as distinguished guests.

The specifics about the characters in Poker Face’s second season are still hidden from us. As for when we can expect the new season to air, there is currently no announced date.

Tony Tost is in charge of overseeing the production of Poker Face’s second season. He works together with Johnson, Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman on this project as executive producers. Among them, Lyonne will be the one to direct certain episodes during the filming of Poker Face’s second season.

Among them were Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Hong Chau, Lil Rel Howery, Chloë Sevigny, Judith Light (winning an Emmy for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy), Simon Helberg, Tim Meadows, Ben Blake Nelson, Jameela Jamil, Charles Melton, Nick Nolte, Cherry Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, and Clea DuVall. Notably, Benjamin Bratt recurred as Cliff LeGrand throughout the season.
