Pokemon GO Fest 2025 will go to Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris in June

After a successful run with the Pokemon GO Tour, Niantic doesn’t have much time to relax as they’re already gearing up for the game’s upcoming major event. The annual Pokemon GO Fest is where players worldwide unite for global Pokemon adventures during summer. This year, the festivities will span three cities and conclude with the traditional Global weekend at the end of June.

Pokemon GO Fest 2025 will kick off from May 29th to June 1st in Osaka, Japan, with the event focusing on Expo ’70 Commemorative Park. Following this, the event will travel to Jersey City, New Jersey, USA, from June 6th to 8th, moving trainers to Liberty State Park. Next stop is Paris, France, at the Parc de Sceaux, from June 13th to 15th. For those unable to attend any of these locations, they can join in on the Pokemon GO Fest 2025: Global weekend on June 28th and 29th at any nearby gathering spot.

2021’s Pokemon GO Fest introduces Volcanion, the Fire/Water-mythical creature from the Pokemon X and Y era, for the first time. Ticket buyers will have access to a Time-limited Research task that introduces Skiddo and offers an opportunity to participate in early access events showcasing various forms of Zacian and Zamazenta, the mythicals from Pokemon Sword and Shield.
