Previously this year, the developers of Palworld, known as Pocketpair, unveiled the establishment of a publishing division, fittingly called Pocketpair Publishing. It appears they are on the verge of disclosing their initial collection of published games. Given the immense success of Palworld, Pocketpair Publishing is also cautious to manage expectations, ensuring fans do not presume they will soon unveil something similar to Palworld.
This week, Pocketpair Publishing hinted at the possibility of unveiling their debut games on social media. They subtly suggested that they might be ready to disclose a new game soon, while publishing manager John Buckley chose to exercise a bit more restraint, considering the remarkable recent triumph of Pocketpair’s Palworld.
Buckley expressed his apprehension about unveiling our initial selection of games, not due to doubts about their quality (as they are all top-notch), but rather because he fears people might only anticipate more Palworld. Our aim at PPP is to assist in the creation of cool indie games, so we hope you enjoy our first round of offerings!

It’s perfectly understandable to worry about this, given that Palworld has been compared to Pocketpair extensively due to its massive success – with approximately 32 million players downloading it just two weeks ago. Although the number of active players may not be as high as at launch, it still maintains a player base between 20,000 and 40,000 daily users, according to SteamDB.
