Players complete Split Fiction’s ‘Laser Hell’ challenge for trip to Hazelight Studios

In Split Fiction, there’s an incredibly tough late-game challenge named “Laser Hell.” Created by Josef Fares, he vowed that any duo who could conquer it would be granted access to Hazelight Studios‘ headquarters in Sweden, where they could catch a sneak peek at the upcoming game being developed by Hazelight. Two brave players have now accomplished this feat, thereby securing an invitation to visit Fares and Hazelight at their Swedish workplace.

In a recent post on social media, director Josef Fares acknowledged that the Laser Hell challenge had been successfully completed by players sharkOvO and E1uM4y, who shared their victory footage on bilibili. The director then congratulated the two players and pledged to keep his promise.

Bravo to “sharkOvO” and “E1uM4y” on completing the hidden challenge “Laser Hell” in #splitfiction. Exceptionally well done! As promised, I will extend invitations for you both to Sweden for an early sneak peek of our upcoming game 🇩🇲🎮 We’ll be reaching out soon!

As a fellow gamer, let me share some insights about an intriguing hidden trial in Split Fiction called Laser Hell. Unlike other challenges that are necessary to finish the game, this one is optional – thank goodness, as it’s incredibly challenging! It demands precise, synchronized platforming through a hail of lasers, which explains its ominous title.

In our Shacknews review, we didn’t manage to conquer Laser Hell before the deadline, but we were well aware of its existence and the daunting challenge it posed.

It’s commendable that Fares is keeping his promise, and it seems that sharkOvO and EluM4y can anticipate what more Hazelight Studios has in store. In the meantime, keep an eye on the Hazelight Studios thread right here at Shacknews for updates.
