Film director Ajay Gnanamuthu, recognized for movies such as Cobra and Demonte Colony, got married to his long-term partner Shimona Rajkumar on January 19th. Details about his spouse are scarce since the director chose a private wedding, limited to family members and dear friends. In attendance was actor Chiyaan Vikram who enthusiastically joined in the festivities.
The snapshot of the wedding ceremony is rapidly spreading across social platforms. In this image, Chiyaan Vikram is captured grinning alongside the newly-married couple. For the event, the actor chose a casual pastel-colored shirt and trousers that harmonized well. On the other hand, the bride and groom appeared charming in their traditional outfits.
For the benefit of those who haven’t heard, the actor Thangalaan teamed up with Ajay Gnanamuthu for the movie Cobra, which hit theaters in 2022.

Ajay Gnanamuthu is a renowned Indian film director and scriptwriter, particularly in Tamil cinema. He first stepped into directing in 2015 with the horror-thriller Demonte Colony, which garnered critical praise and box office success. In 2018, he helmed the thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal that found favor with both viewers and critics. In 2022, he collaborated with Chiyaan Vikram for the action-packed thriller Cobra.
In the year 2024, Ajay Gnanamuthu teamed up with Arulnithi once more for “Demonte Colony 2,” marking almost a decade since their first hit movie together. The follow-up garnered widespread acclaim globally.
Previously, Chiyaan Vikram appeared in director Pa Ranjith’s movie titled Thangalaan, playing an intense character of a tribal chief. In this production, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan were cast as the principal female characters.
Next up, Vikram takes charge as the lead actor in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, helmed by director Arun Kumar, who is renowned for his work on Chithha. In addition to Vikram, the film will feature SJ Suryah and Suraj Venjaramoodu, with the latter marking his Tamil cinema debut. The supporting cast includes Dushara Vijayan.
