Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Is Cruising From Paris to Miami, of Course

Pharrell has a strong affection for Miami, which is why when he launched his Billionaire Boys Club flagship in the city in 2022, he expressed to TopMob that “There’s no other city quite like Miami on the planet.” Given this deep-rooted love for the Magic City, it comes as no surprise that Pharrell crafted Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2025 menswear collection with the concept of a transatlantic voyage from Paris to Miami in mind.

For anyone intrigued, Pharrell Williams has strong connections with Miami. In 2018, he established Swan, a two-story restaurant spanning 13,500 square feet, in the city’s Design District. Later, in 2020, the renowned producer bought a $30 million mansion covering 3.3 acres in Coral Gables with a waterfront view. And just recently, he partnered with hospitality mogul David Grutman to open The Goodtime Hotel in South Beach. Notably, there was also the opening of the BBC shop. While managing his coastal territories, he’s often seen cruising the city streets in his Tesla Cybertruck. It’s worth mentioning that last year, Skateboard P had a funny struggle trying to park his massive Cybertruck outside Louis Vuitton’s Miami store.

Essentially, Pharrell has a deep understanding of Miami’s high-end shoppers’ preferences, as demonstrated by his latest collection at Louis Vuitton. To clarify, this isn’t clothing you’d find on club-goers at Club Space all night long; instead, it caters to the style preferences of Miami’s yacht owners, sports car enthusiasts, Swan restaurant patrons, and vacationers at Goodtime. The collection is divided into two parts: “Transit” and “Arrival,” reflecting a man of fashion’s journey from sea to shore.

The “Transit” collection follows a standard cruiser line dress code, featuring Monogram Regatta-style nylon windbreakers, sporty driving jackets, formal three-piece suits, and elegant shawl-collared eveningwear, alongside other tailored styles. On the other hand, the “Arrival” assortment is designed for poolside relaxation, boasting French terry towel robes, aqua bowling set, striped shirts, and shorts adorned with resort-inspired patterns.

The fresh leather trunks feature aged tan VVT trimming, a design introduced by Pharrell, along with the Monogram Heritage motif, presented in a nautical style here. Sailor hats and pearl denim caps add authenticity to the brand’s fashion journey, as do accessories inspired by ship ropes such as chains and bracelets. Completing the collection are updates on several Louis Vuitton footwear classics like the Scala, Easy Mule, Footprint, and Venice models, designed for a vacation-ready feel.
