What happens in the Stand Your Ground trailer?
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that “Stand Your Ground” trailer unveils the tale of an individual who cleverly uses the Stand Your Ground law to ensnare the son of a notorious racist criminal, having had past encounters years ago. The movie is set to hit the big screens on May 9, 2025, with video-on-demand availability following suit on May 27, 2025.

The movie “Stand Your Ground” was helmed by Swedish director Fansu Njie, with screenplays penned by Craig Walser and Sergey Zhelezko. In addition to Stisen and Stormare, this film also features Eric Roberts, Adam Basil, Patrick Regis, Akie Kotabe, Roxi Kravitz, and Isobel Laidler as its stars.
The movie chronicles the story of Jack Johnson (Stisen), a man formerly in Special Forces, who returns home with his pregnant wife (Laila Pyne). However, their joy is cut short by a horrific event: a racially-motivated assault, orchestrated by local crime lord Bastion (Peter Stormare), results in the murder of Jack’s wife. Overcome with anger, Jack slays one of the perpetrators right outside their home and serves six years in prison for it. Upon his release, Jack learns that the assailants were actually sons of Bastion. In a quest for vengeance, Jack sets his sights on Leon, Bastion’s oldest son, who was behind the attack’s planning.
