For several years now, Davidson has been undergoing the procedure to remove over 180 tattoos from his body. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he described the painful process as requiring multiple sessions where a layer of skin is burned off, followed by a healing period of around six to eight weeks. Additionally, direct sunlight must be avoided throughout this time. Despite the discomfort, he happily announced that most of the tattoos have been successfully removed. (Source: NBC)

Davidson explained that the tattoos he got were spontaneous, telling Fallon, “I was a melancholic lad… You’d just come up with an idea and have it inked?” He acknowledged that the tattoos no longer resonated with him, prompting his decision to start fresh, retaining only “perhaps two or three” of them. His new appearance aligns with his changing public persona, as he also reflected on his past fashion style, saying, “If you search any image of me from ages 20 to 27, it’s purple shirts, fedoras, all the chains, and tacky Rolexes.” (Source: Page Six)

Davidson is additionally focusing on renovating the Staten Island Ferry he purchased with SNL co-star Colin Jost in 2022. “Imagine it as four or five stories, with each level offering something unique – a hotel on top, a movie theater, an entertainment venue, and shopping areas,” he explained. “Our plans are quite comprehensive, and we’re further along than many realize,” Davidson further mentioned.
