Disney Plus has officially revealed when we can expect the second season premiere of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Moreover, they’ve unveiled the initial teaser trailer for this eagerly awaited return of the growing-up fantasy series. This sneak peek offers a tantalizing taste of what lies ahead in Percy’s next escapade. It also provides a first glance at the entrance of Percy’s half-brother Tyson, who happens to be a cyclops.
Following the infiltration of Camp Half-Blood’s safety barrier, Percy Jackson embarks on a momentous journey across the Sea of Monsters to find his dear friend Grover and the vital item that could save the camp – the Golden Fleece. Accompanied by Annabeth, Clarisse, and his recently discovered cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival becomes pivotal in the battle against Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their wicked scheme to destroy Camp Half-Blood – and eventually Olympus.

When is the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 release date?
The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is set to premiere on December 10, only on Disney+. Before even the release of Season 2, the series has already received a pre-emptive renewal for Season 3. Additionally, author Rick Riordan has revealed that Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie have been cast for Season 3, playing the characters Nico di Angelo (Hades’ child) and Bianca respectively.
The show was developed and overseen by Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg. In the main roles, Walker Scobell portrays Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri is Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries plays Annabeth Chase, Dior Goodjohn takes on Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell embodies Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull appears as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman portrays Chiron, and Toby Stephens stars as Poseidon.

In the second season of the show, inspired by Rick Riordan’s 2006 novel “The Sea of Monsters,” we will encounter several fresh characters. Daniel Diemer takes on the role of Percy’s cyclops half-brother Tyson, Andra Day steps into the part of Athena, Margaret Cho portrays Wasp, Kristen Schaal brings Tempest to life, Sandra Bernhard becomes Anger, Timothy Simons plays Tantalus, Tamara Smart embodies Thalia, Rosemarie DeWitt is C.C., Aleks Paunovic portrays Polyphemus, Beatrice Kitsos assumes the role of Alison Simms, and Kevin Chacon plays Chris Rodriguez.
