Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Cast Adds Veep’s Timothy Simons to Guest Star

As a die-hard fan of Greek mythology and a binge-watcher of fantasy series, I couldn’t be more thrilled about Timothy Simons joining the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2! With his unique acting style and knack for portraying complex characters, I have no doubt that he will bring Tantalus to life in a way that will leave us all on the edge of our seats.

Actor Timothy Simons, who plays roles in both “Veep” and “Candy,” has been chosen to be part of the cast for season 2 of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” on Disney+, the upcoming episode in this popular fantasy series.

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be stepping into the intriguing role of Tantalus, a character known for his sarcastic wit, cunning manipulation, open hostility, and perpetual bad mood. Given his eternal curse of unquenchable hunger and thirst, he can never satiate these needs.

Who is in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 cast?

I’m thrilled about the ongoing adventure in “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” where I take on the role of Percy Jackson himself! Joining me are Walker Scobell as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and Toby Stephens as Poseidon. The story continues from Rick Riordan’s second Camp Half-Blood Chronicles book, “The Sea of Monsters.”

“Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down,” reads the show’s newest logline. “His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.”
