Penfolds and Nigo Have Releases Their Final Collaboration

Penfolds unveiled its last joint project with globally recognized designer NIGO, who serves as their creative partner. This unique, limited edition collection, called “65F by NIGO,” is now on sale exclusively in the UK at Harrods.

The collaboration was sparked by NIGO’s initial tour of Penfolds Magill Estate in South Australia, where the design for 65F by NIGO features a pristine red and white smokestack reminiscent of the one that has stood tall over the Magill Estate winery for nearly a century. This iconic structure symbolizes Penfold’s deep history, as the wine’s name is also based on the chimney’s height of 65 feet.

65F wine by NIGO has been aged for maturity in 100% French oak barriques. It combines delightfully the richness of Cabernet Sauvignon with the spice of Shiraz. The quality grapes used are carefully selected from prestigious vineyards scattered throughout South Australia. This multi-regional blend showcases the thoughtful and skillful winemaking techniques employed by the team, including their careful selection of blocks, regional blending, and choice of oak.

Additionally, the label on the bottle showcases a vintage-inspired design reminiscent of labels from the 1930s to 1950s. The tissue paper used for wrapping the bottle echoes the Penfolds logo style from the early 20th century. To add to this, the wine stopper takes inspiration from NIGO’s whimsical design and resembles a chimney smoke stack.

You can take a closer look at 65F by NIGO and its available to buy now via Harrods.
