As a seasoned gamer and TV enthusiast with over two decades of entertainment under my belt, I must say that this week’s Peacock releases have me buzzing! The 26th season of The Voice is upon us, and the return of Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Carson Daly, and a fresh lineup of judges Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg promises an electrifying experience.
Peacock‘s new TV and movie releases for September 23-29 2024 include Brilliant Minds Season 1, America’s Got Talent Season 19, and Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.
Starting September 24th, I’ll be tuning into Peacock for the long-awaited return of The Voice Season 26! It’s going to be my 26th time watching Carson Daly host this amazing show. This season, country queen Reba McEntire is back for her third round, and pop sensation Gwen Stefani is back after a brief hiatus last year. But that’s not all – we’ve got two fresh faces joining the team: Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg! Can’t wait to see what these new coaches bring to the table!
On September 25th, you can catch America’s Got Talent in its 19th season. In this edition, judges such as Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofía Vergara, and Simon Cowell are back on the judging panel. Terry Crews will be returning for his sixth consecutive year as the show’s host. This series features a wide array of talented individuals across various age groups – singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, musicians, ventriloquists, and many more. Each week, these performers display their skills in hopes of impressing celebrity judges who decide which contestants will move forward in the competition.
Additionally airing on Peacock this week is the movie The Proud Rebel (1958). This film tells the story of a Confederate veteran attempting to build a new life in the Northern States. Upon returning from war, John Chandler finds his home destroyed, his wife missing, and his son, David, severely traumatized and unable to communicate verbally. In an effort to help his son, Chandler journeys to a small Illinois town in search of a doctor. Unfortunately, his troubles escalate when he is falsely accused of assault shortly after their arrival.
