As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Peacock has been stepping up their game lately! The upcoming releases for November 11-17 have me genuinely excited.
📺 Here’s what I’m excited to watch on Peacock from November 11-17, 2024: “The Day of the Jackal” and “Twisters” are hitting our screens! Can’t wait!
Beginning on November 14, Thursday, Peacock subscribers will have an opportunity to watch The Day of the Jackal. Based on Frederick Forsyth’s novel, this action-packed drama series revolves around the character of the Jackal (played by Eddie Redmayne), a highly skilled and elusive assassin who commands a hefty fee for his deadly services. However, his life takes a turn when he clashes with Bianca Pullman (portrayed by Lashana Lynch), a relentless British Intelligence officer, who is determined to apprehend and bring the Jackal to justice.
On November 15 (Friday), the movie titled “Twisters” will be released. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, this film serves as a standalone sequel to the 1996 original. Set in Central Oklahoma, it follows a team of storm chasers as they explore a series of tornado outbreaks. Among the actors featured are Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos.
Also releasing on Peacock this week are two Fast & Furious movies, Furious 7 and Fast X.
On November 15th, the upcoming Fast X movie marks the newest addition to the series. In this installment, Dominic Torretto, along with his family, faces off against Dante Reyes, son of the antagonist from Fast Five, Hernan Reyes. Dante is out for revenge against Dom for killing his father.
Additionally, Furious 7, the seventh film in the series, will make its appearance on November 16. In this installment, Dominic (Dom) and his team face off against the formidable assassin Deckard Shaw. Shaw is out for revenge as his brother, Owen, was put into a coma by Dom and the crew earlier.
