The mystery surrounding this new character has me hooked, and I can’t help but speculate that it might just be the enigmatic Apache Chief.
Although details about Peacemaker Season 2 are still scarce, James Gunn has just unveiled a fresh image hinting at the arrival of a secretive new character.
I posted a mysterious image on social media featuring an unidentified individual nestled near a crackling fire. From what I can gather, he seems to have blonde hair and adornments of feathers on his arms. I didn’t provide any context, but the gaming community swiftly started speculating that this enigmatic figure could be none other than Apache Chief, given his distinctive appearance.

What else do we know about Peacemaker Season 2?
Currently, details about the storyline for the upcoming season of Peacemaker are being kept secret. Joining the previously announced cast are Jennifer Holland playing Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee portraying John Economos, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux, and Tim Meadows in the role of Langston Fleury. Additionally, David Denman has been added to the cast for an unspecified part.
The filming for Peacemaker Season 2 started in April 2024. James Gunn oversaw the direction of three episodes during this new season, with additional directors like Greg Mottola and Peter Sollett also contributing. Interestingly, James Gunn penned all eight episodes himself.
The release date for Peacemaker Season 2 is still unconfirmed, but it’s anticipated to air on Max sometime in 2025. Before that, the DC Universe created by Gunn and Safran will make its debut this coming December with Creature Commandos. The voice cast for Creature Commandos includes Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and Gunn’s Superman movie is slated for release in July 2025. Currently, there are several other DCU projects under active development.
