This coming year, Tollywood star and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, is preparing to make a big-screen comeback with his film titled “They Call Him OG.” With the news about this movie generating quite a buzz for some time now, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has recently reviewed its teaser.
Based on the information provided by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the teaser for the film featuring Pawan Kalyan is 1 minute and 39 seconds long. This teaser was censored on January 8, 2025, and it has been rated as UA 16+.
As Sankranti approaches, there’s buzz that the movie’s teaser will come out shortly and may even be shown alongside films in theaters. But for now, the producers haven’t given a definite release date for the teaser just yet.
The film titled “They Call Him OG” is an action-packed gangster movie starring Pawan Kalyan as the main character. This production, directed by Sujeeth, who also directed Saaho, narrates the story of a Mumbai street gangster who vanished 10 years ago and has now returned.
Emerging from his secret lair, the merciless gangster sets out to confront his adversary, Omi Bhau, leaving a trail of fallen foes behind him. The movie boasts an impressive cast including Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, and several others in pivotal positions.
The creators of OG revealed a sneak peek named Hungry Cheetah about a year back, initially scheduled for release on September 27, 2024. Unfortunately, due to several setbacks in production, the film has been pushed back and a new release date has yet to be announced.
