Pawan Kalyan gets emotional remembering close friend Shihan Hussaini, recalls his impact on him

Shihan Hussaini, a renowned Tamil actor and karate instructor, tragically passed away on March 25 following a long struggle with blood cancer. His family took to social media to break the sad news. As the nation grieves, Pawan Kalyan expressed heartfelt sentiments, recalling their close friendship and the martial arts training he received from Hussaini during the 90s.

The seasoned actor shared his sorrow upon learning about his illness recently and took steps to organize foreign treatment with support from friends in Chennai. He had also intended to see Shihan Hussaini on March 29th, but the news of his passing left Pawan Kalyan “devastated”.

I was deeply saddened to learn that esteemed martial arts and archery coach, Shihan Hussaini, has passed away. It was under his guidance that I learned karate. I only found out about his struggle with cancer four days ago.

Pawan Kalyan reminisced about his karate training period, remembering the tough discipline of Master Hussaini. He admitted that he followed his teacher’s rules unfailingly. At first, Master Hussaini refused to teach him, arguing that he wasn’t accepting new students anymore. However, the original actor’s determination eventually persuaded him to accept Pawan Kalyan as a pupil.

Later on, Pawan Kalyan fondly recalled the extensive time they spent learning karate together, aiming to achieve a black belt. He gratefully acknowledged Shihan Hussaini’s tutelage for playing an instrumental part in molding his character as a kickboxer in the movie Thammudu.

This seasoned performer commended his commitment, noting that he had trained over three thousand martial arts experts who earned their black belts under him, and significantly contributed to the rise of archery popularity in the region of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, he emphasized the multitalented nature of the Tamil actor, showcasing his skills in music, acting, and sculpture.

Pawan Kalyan noted that he made it simple for kids to learn martial arts. Moreover, his action of giving his body for medical research demonstrates his kindness. I offer my sincere sympathies to the relatives of Hussaini.

Shihan Hussaini’s loved ones shared the sad news on Facebook that he had passed away. They stated that his body would be at his residence in Besant Nagar until evening. They invited karate experts and archers to honor him while dressed in their uniforms. Karate practitioners were asked to perform katas at 3 PM, and archers were requested to pay tribute with arrows at 5 PM. After 7 PM, his remains will be transported to Madurai.
