Pawan Kalyan on the work front

The politician-turned-actor’s latest appearance on the big screen was alongside Bheemla Nayak, released in 2022. Notably, this film is a reimagining of the 2020 Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

Following the premiere of Bheemla Nayak, Pawan Kalyan opted for a temporary hiatus to concentrate on his political pursuits. Yet, he made a brief return to acting through a special appearance in his nephew Sai Dharam Tej’s film titled Bro, which was released in 2023.

Afterward, both the actor and the current Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh are set to appear in “They Call Him OG,” or simply “OG.” This anticipated movie is slated for release later this year.

The story centers on the return of Ojas Gambheera, a notorious criminal who’s back in Mumbai after a decade, with a mission to eliminate a mafia boss named Omi Bhau.

In this production I’m following closely, I can confirm that it includes notable talents such as Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Arjun Das, each taking on significant roles. As for myself, I am set to star in a historical drama titled “Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1-Sword vs. Spirit.” This captivating fantasy action film is set within the Mughal Empire during the 17th century, where I will portray an outlaw character.

Additionally, he is now part of the Harish Shankar-led movie titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh. In this film, Sakshi Vaidya and Sreeleela play significant roles, and Pawan will assume the character of a police officer within the context of Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
