The upcoming movie “Parasakthi,” directed by Sudha Kongara, is in production now, focusing on student uprisings. Recently, the director shared a sneak peek from the set, showing the cast, and also told a funny story related to it.
Delving into a flurry of excitement, I eagerly took to my Instagram feed to share an intriguing snapshot featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and the masterful cinematographer, Ravi K. Chandran. Caught in mid-discussion, their captivating poses were skillfully captured by none other than Sudha Kongara’s camera lens.
Check out the post here:
The director wrote a caption alongside the picture, revealing that the four men were in fact discussing an early morning call time for the filming of Parasakthi.
In this context, she wrote that four men were debating what time they should arrive the next day – suggestions ranged from 9 a.m., 8 a.m., 7:45 a.m., and at least 7:30 a.m. However, the director had already decided on a 7 a.m. start time for the first shot. This discussion was happening over home-cooked food in Karaikudi.
According to previous news reports, it is said that Sivakarthikeyan has opted for a different payment structure for his role in the film directed by Sudha Kongara.
As reported by India Glitz, the actor has decided to waive a set compensation and instead opt for a profit-sharing agreement. This means that if the film is successful at the box office, he will receive a portion of the profits earned from the theatrical release.
A few days back, it was SK’s birthday, and instead of a traditional celebration, he chose to spend it on the sets of Parasakthi. Surrounded by his fellow actors, crew members, and even the director, he celebrated in a series of viral snapshots. In these glimpses, the actor could be seen blowing out candles on a cake and savoring the joyful moments with everyone present.
The tale of Parasakthi draws inspiration from an actual event that transpired in the 1960s. According to Asianet Tamil, it offers a general portrayal of the life of M Rajendran, a student hailing from Annamalai University, who tragically lost his life during the anti-Hindi demonstrations in Tamil Nadu in 1965, following a police shooting.
