Paramount Scares: Volume 2 Reveals Titles in 4K Horror Movie Collection

As a die-hard horror fan, I can’t help but get excited about the latest addition to Paramount’s Scares collection! Last year’s Volume 1 was a fantastic start, and now, with Volume 2, they’re really upping the ante. The limited edition box set, featuring four spine-tingling classics, is just what I need to kick off my Halloween season in style.

In the second installment of “Paramount Scares,” some thrilling titles will receive an upgraded 4K Ultra HD presentation. This special edition comes with a collectible box set, which was also introduced for the first time last year.

Beginning October 1, 2024 – perfect for Halloween – you can buy an entirely new Paramount Horror 4K Collection. This collection will bear resemblance to the previous year’s version, which included films like Rosemary’s Baby, Pet Sematary (1989), Smile, Crawl, and Sweeney Todd. In contrast, this upcoming release will encompass four Paramount horror classics as a single purchase. As a bonus, this set will come with an exclusive poster, a collectible Fangoria magazine, iron-on patches, and a unique domed sticker.

As a self-proclaimed horror enthusiast with a deep appreciation for classic spine-tingling tales, I’d be thrilled to share my excitement about Paramount Scares’ latest offering. This collection is a treasure trove of long-forgotten gems, carefully resurrected and brought back to life in a limited-edition compilation. The mere thought of these spine-chilling titles sends shivers down my spine, transporting me back to the thrilling nights spent huddled under blankets with a flashlight and a stack of scary stories. Each tale is a masterclass in suspense and terror, a testament to the enduring power of horror to captivate and terrify. I can’t wait to immerse myself in this eerie experience once again!

Each movie will also get four exclusive slipcovers. Check out the box set’s look down below:

What are the movies included in Paramount Scares: Volume 2?

In the second installment of Paramount Scares, you’ll find Friday the 13th: Part 2 from 1981, Breakdown released in 1997, World War Z produced in 2013, and Orphan: First Kill premiered in 2022.

For the first time, Friday the 13th: Part 2 will be available in 4K Ultra HD when it is released next. This horror movie sequel, helmed by Steve Miner, is a chilling follow-up to the original. In contrast, Breakdown is about a married couple’s harrowing road trip that leads them on a desperate search in New Mexico for one of them who has gone missing. Starring Kurt Russell, Kathleen Quinlan, and J.T. Walsh.

As a film enthusiast with a passion for both horror and suspense genres, I find the recent announcements about upcoming releases really exciting! Let me share my thoughts on two highly anticipated movies.

You can purchase Paramount Scares: Volume 2 on Amazon on October 1.
