As a devoted fan who’s been hooked to these shows since their early days, I must say that Paramount Plus is truly spoiling us this week! The upcoming releases are nothing short of a dream come true for me.
Here are some of the latest TV shows and movies that will be premiering on Paramount Plus from October 14th to October 20th, 2024 include the new seasons of NCIS (Season 22) and S.W.A.T. (Season 8), as well as the series debut of NCIS Origins.
On October 14th (Monday), you can stream both Season 22 of NCIS and NCIS: Origins on Paramount Plus. NCIS is a well-known crime drama series that focuses on the investigations of special agents dealing with crimes involving Navy and Marine Corps officers, regardless of their rank or position in the hierarchy.
Meanwhile, NCIS: Origins is a prequel that takes place in 1991, focusing on the early days of Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Austin Stowell. In this series, we see him being mentored and guided by Mike Franks as he starts his career as a special agent within NCIS, which is the same organization where Mark Harmon’s character, Gibbs, was later introduced.
Beginning October 18, the eighth season of SWAT kicks off. This police crime drama, led by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan, focuses on a local SWAT officer grappling with his allegiance to both his team and the streets. Assigned to command a top-tier unit, he becomes Los Angeles’ last chance for resolving crimes.
This week, you’ll find the initial three seasons of Tyler Perry’s The Oval appearing on Paramount Plus. The series centers around a seemingly ideal interracial first family who move into the White House. Despite their picture-perfect facade, they inhabit an environment that’s filled with deceit and corruption.
