Official trailer and plot of Paraman
The tale “Paraman” revolves around a farmer named Paraman who experiences a tranquil existence that is suddenly disrupted by deceit and avarice. It transpires that his associate, Sadai, fabricates false papers in an attempt to seize Paraman’s property.
With assistance from the authorities, Sadai intimidates him, but Paraman courageously opts for a legal solution instead. He successfully wins the lawsuit and reclaims his property, experiencing a brief moment of tranquility. However, as peace seems to be restored, the administration announces plans to seize the land for a bypass road development project. Once more, Paraman resorts to the court system, resolved on safeguarding what is rightfully his.
Yet, the struggle wears heavily on him. Over time, his family disintegrates. They lose their home, his son lands in prison, and his daughter-in-law is compelled to depart. Paraman and his wife, Kannathaal, are left desolate, fractured, and forsaken in a humble abode. The movie poses an impactful dilemma – did justice triumph, or did the system once more overlook a regular citizen?
Cast and crew of Paraman
In this production, Supergood Subramani stars as Paraman, accompanied by Vaiyapuri in the role of Sivanandi and Pala Karuppaiyah as Malaisamy. Hello Kandasamy plays the part of Karuppu, while Koonan is acted out by Vetrivel Raja. Meesai Rajendran assumes the character of Nehru, with VJ Archana cast as the Collector.
In a different phrasing, Ashok Tamizh portrays the character Veeran. The movie is orchestrated by J. Sabarish who takes on the roles of director, producer, and editor. Idayanilavan is responsible for scriptwriting, while Thameem Ansari manages the music composition, and Sibi Sadasivam oversees the cinematography.
