As a dedicated gamer and avid fan of The Walking Dead, I can hardly contain my excitement! With PaleyFest NY announcing the upcoming events for 2024, it looks like I’ll be getting a firsthand glimpse into the behind-the-scenes action of some of my favorite shows.
Today, PaleyFest NY unveiled “Outlander: The 10th Anniversary Celebration,” “Somebody Somewhere,” and “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon—The Book of Carol” as the initial programs for their yearly event. This festival will be held from October 16-22 at The Paley Museum, located in Midtown Manhattan.
The full schedule of programs for the 2024 PaleyFest will be announced on September 9.
At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), actors Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, along with showrunner David Zabel, Executive Producer Greg Nicotero, and moderator Chris Hardwick gathered for a panel. During the event, they unveiled a complete trailer for the upcoming second season set to premiere on both AMC and AMC+ on September 29th.
The PaleyFest event is scheduled between the premiere of season 2 and its finale. This timing allows the cast and crew to share their insights about the events that have unfolded thus far in the current season, as well as to excite fans with the upcoming third season, which will be both written and filmed in Spain.
Starting September 10, tickets for PaleyFest will become accessible for both Citi cardholders and Paley Members through a pre-sale process.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol
In the second series installment of Daryl Dixon, Melissa McBride returns, once more embodying Carol Peletier. Her narrative follows as she embarks on a quest to find her friend who was last spotted in Maine. Meanwhile, Daryl (Norman Reedus) remains engaged in combat with The Union of Hope in France, battling Genet’s (Anne Charrier) Pouvoir or Power of the Living.
