The romantic comedy movie “Painkili,” written by Jithu Madhavan and featuring Sajin Gopu and Anaswara Rajan, premiered on Valentine’s Day at the cinemas. The movie’s plot centers on Suku, a vibrant owner of a printing shop who loves social media, and his family who manage a catering business. During a journey to Coimbatore for a machine purchase, an unforeseen twist occurs. Simultaneously, Sheeba, a girl prone to leaving home, finds herself at Suku’s house. Their interactions result in a string of comical and unanticipated situations. With doses of humor and romance, Painkili promises an enjoyable and engaging viewing experience.

Prior to its launch, Painkili generated significant interest, largely because of Sajin Gopu’s growing popularity following his role in Aavesham. Sharing the screen with him is Anaswara Rajan, who left audiences captivated with her performances in Rekhachithram and Ennu Swantam Punyalan.

The movie “Painkili” is helmed by director Sreejith Babu, with the script penned by Jithu Madhavan. Fahadh Faasil and Jithu Madhavan serve as producers for this project. In this production, Sajin Gopu is Suku Sujithkumar, Anaswara Rajan plays Sheeba, Jisma Vimal acts as Suma, and Roshan Shanavas is Paachan. Abu Salim assumes the character of Sujithkumar, while Chandu Salimkumar embodies Aneesh (Kunjayi). Additionally, Lijo Jose Pellissery stars as Thanku, and Riyaz Khan, Aswathy B, and Ambili Ayappan take on important roles.
