Several senior BioWare staff confirm exit from the studio

Yesterday, I announced my departure from BioWare through social media, following the news that broke out earlier. For over two decades, I’ve been a writer at this incredible studio, contributing to iconic games like the original Mass Effect and all the way up to Mass Effect 5. It seems my journey with BioWare has come to an end.

I also learned that Karin West-Weekes, who served as an editor for 19 years at BioWare, is leaving too. Alongside her, Ryan Cormier, a longtime editor and writer, and Producer Jen Cheverie, who’s been with the studio for 14 years, are also saying goodbye.

According to PC Gamer, Daniel Steed (editor), Lina Anderson (senior product manager), Michael Flamm (systems designer), and Mad Bee (UX designer) have also decided to leave BioWare. It’s a bittersweet moment for us as we bid farewell to the studio that shaped our gaming experiences.

Why ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ is the Ultimate Heist Movie You Can’t Miss!

This film is most enjoyable when characters are involved in theft, especially art heists. It follows a wealthy individual who craves excitement and decides to pilfer one of the Met’s priciest exhibits as a personal jest, using a reproduction of René Magritte’s “The Son of Man” as camouflage. The movie’s main flaw lies in its attempt to evoke empathy for these characters, as their cold and disconnected nature makes it challenging to care about their lives deeply.
