Oy Re-Release: Siddharth and Shamili starrer Telugu cult romantic drama to hit big screens on February 26

The much-loved Siddharth and Shamili starring Telugu romantic drama Oy! is making a comeback to the big screens on February 26, 2025. This movie, which was originally directed by Anand Ranga, first hit the screens on July 3, 2009.

The creators are excited to announce that the movie will be back in theaters on February 26th. They wrote, “Morning…Celebration!” and shared a film poster.

In the film titled “Oy!” with Siddharth and Shamili as the main characters, we follow the storyline about Uday and Sandhya. Uday, once a wealthy young man, unexpectedly inherits the position of a company chairman following his father’s demise.

A man with a seize-the-day mentality and the conviction that life is fleeting encounters a young woman named Sandhya at a New Year’s celebration. Through various inquiries, he learns about her, eventually discovering that she is battling a terminal illness.

Uday seized every moment he had with her, granting all her desires and eventually finding himself smitten. Their shared experiences, filled with trials, form the core plotline of the film.

In the starring roles are Siddharth and Shamili, with a talented supporting cast that includes Sunil, Ali, Napoleon, Pradeep Rawat, Krishnudu, MS Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, among others, each playing crucial parts. The movie’s soundtrack was created by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Moving forward from hereon, I found myself stepping into the spotlight for the film titled “Miss You,” a heartwarming romantic comedy directed by the talented N Rajasekar. Sharing the screen with me was the radiant Ashika Ranganath, who brought life to her role as my co-star.

Additionally, you should know that the actor will soon take on a leading role in the film titled “Test,” which is being helmed by Shivaji Sashikanth. This sports-themed movie also features R Madhavan and Nayanthara, and it’s set against the exciting world of cricket. The unique aspect is that this production will be debuted on Netflix without a traditional cinema release.

Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that Siddharth is set to feature in the upcoming movie titled Indian 3, alongside Kamal Haasan. Notably, he has just revealed a sneak peek of his upcoming project, known as 3BHK.
