As a gamer who’s spent countless hours navigating the virtual real estate market, I can confidently say that the renewal of “Owning Manhattan” season 2 is a game-changer! Just like my character leveled up from noob to pro, this show has taken the reality TV genre to new heights.
Netflix has successfully secured the rights for another season of the popular real estate series, Owning Manhattan, following its debut in June. In simpler terms, you can look forward to more episodes of Owning Manhattan!
The streaming platform shared an exhilarating update on social media, featuring series lead and real estate agent Ryan Serhant. Back in July, Serhant hinted at a potential second season of Owning Manhattan, and even suggested that the show could expand to other locations like Selling Sunset.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the upcoming season 2 of “Owning Manhattan”! Although Netflix hasn’t officially announced its release date (likely next year in 2025), Ryan Serhant has already hinted that it will be more exhilarating and gripping than the first season. Building on the unpredictable twists, high-stakes drama, and rapid tempo of the initial eight episodes, this second round promises to be a rollercoaster ride! So, heed the mogul’s words of caution: “I suggest everyone prepares for a bit of turbulence. Get ready to buckle up on your couch!”
Owning Manhattan season 2 was a no-brainer
Back in June, I was thrilled to see that Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan” garnered global success, according to Variety’s reports. In just its first week, it amassed an astounding 512 million viewing minutes, a testament to its allure! It even managed to spend a week on the Global Top 10 TV (English) ranking and boasted 30 Top 10 entries worldwide. These numbers are as jaw-dropping as the real estate deals struck by Serhant and his team in the series!
Before the second season premieres on our screens, it’s wise to follow Serhant’s recommendation and brace yourself for the intense real estate competition ahead, as hinted in the upcoming seasons. As per the leading star, the second season will delve deeper into the personal lives of the cast members, revealing insights about Tricia Lee, Jess Markowski, and Nile Lundgren. According to Serhant, they might require more than eight episodes, but there’s no confirmation yet if Netflix has extended the order.
After learning about the renewal for season 2, Serhant shared his thoughts and the show’s ongoing achievement in an interview with Variety. Previously, Netflix had produced numerous successful real estate reality shows, but Serhant takes pride in contributing to the genre’s sustained success and pushing its boundaries into uncharted territories with ‘Owning Manhattan’.
It’s a lot to take in — it’s a global hit. Owning Manhattan is unlike anything else on TV, we basically invented a new format. I’m ecstatic, but it’s also overwhelming, in a good way. I can’t wait for what’s to come.
Watch Owning Manhattan only on Netflix.
