Starz has unveiled the official trailer for “Outlander: Blood of My Blood,” the eagerly anticipated prequel to the hit romantic drama series Outlander. This new series is set to premiere on Friday, August 8th exclusively on Starz. Each episode will be released weekly, every Friday, only on the Starz app, as well as all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms.
The story spans through time as a romantic epic, taking us from the battlefields of World War I to the rugged landscapes of 18th-century Scotland. Two destined pairs face challenges to stay together, battling against forces that want them apart. Their paths cross in unexpected and unanticipated manners.

The video showcases two captivating love tales mirroring each other, centered around the parents of the main characters from the original series, Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser. It hints at the trials these couples must endure in the name of love, providing a glimpse into their interconnectedness. In this new production, Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy will bring to life Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, while Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine embody Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.
In the television series Outlander titled “Blood of My Blood,” Matthew B. Roberts serves as both writer and showrunner, drawing inspiration from Diana Gabaldon’s renowned book series.
