Who is in the Outlander: Blood of My Blood photos?

Fans get an early peek at the backstories of Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser’s parents through newly released photos. Harriet Slater (Pennyworth) and Jamie Roy (Condor’s Nest) act as Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, while Hermione Corfield (The Road Dance) and Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) depict Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp in the upcoming Outlander prequel.

As an excited fan, I’d describe it this way: In this captivating spin-off, I’ll get to explore not one, but two heartwarming love stories unfolding in breathtakingly different eras. The first takes place amidst the raw beauty and passion of the early 18th century Scottish Highlands. The second transports me to the resilient spirit of England during the tumultuous times of World War II. Can’t wait to see how these stories intertwine!

As a huge fan of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander novels, I’m thrilled to share that the captivating series comes to life under the guidance of showrunner Matthew B. Roberts. He writes and produces this masterpiece, joined by executive producers Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis, who brought the original television adaptation to life through their Tall Ship Productions. The production is additionally supported by executive producers at Story Mining & Supply Company and Sony Pictures Television. And let’s not forget that Gabaldon herself is involved as a consulting producer!
