Over the past few years, Outerloop Games has been consistently releasing high-quality games, with recent releases like Falcon Age and Thirsty Suitors. It seems that since then, they’ve been secretly developing their next game, which was initially code-named Project Dosa. However, as time has passed, this temporary title is now obsolete, as the project will officially be known as Dosa Divas: One Last Meal.
During the Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition 2025 presentation last Friday, Creative Director Chandana Ekanayake unveiled a fresh trailer and updates on Outerloop’s development progress. Dosa Divas, a narrative-style RPG similar to Thirsty Suitors by the developer, was highlighted. The turn-based combat scenes may seem familiar, as main characters Samara and Amani engage in battles against peculiar opponents. However, what sets this game apart is that these characters will be engaging in combat while riding a colossal mech.
Similar to Thirsty Suitors, Dosa Divas incorporates cooking as a key component, but it seems the culinary aspect plays a more significant role in the storyline this time. Preparing meals using various ingredients could rejuvenate the weary villagers who have long been accustomed to processed foods. Additionally, meals can be employed strategically during conflicts by luring enemies with enticing concoctions and thus distracting them.
In comparison to Thirsty Suitors, the fight sequences and cooking mechanics seem to have undergone significant improvement in Dosa Divas: One Last Meal. Keeping a close watch on this game as it progresses through development. Anticipate the release of Dosa Divas: One Last Meal, offering its distinctive taste, for PC and yet-to-be-specified consoles in early 2026.
