As a devoted fan of the Outer Banks series, I must say that watching the teaser trailer for Season 4 has left me absolutely thrilled! The Pogues are back and ready for another round of high-stakes adventures, and this time they’ve got everything to lose!
Netflix unveiled a sneak peek of the upcoming season 4 for “Outer Banks“, emphasizing the comeback of the Pogues as they embark on fresh journeys.
2023 saw the start of production for the fourth season of the popular Netflix teen drama series, but it faced a delay due to the then-ongoing Hollywood strikes. However, the wait is nearly over as Outer Banks Season 4 will be released in two instalments. Fans can look forward to the first five episodes dropping on October 10, while the rest of the episodes are scheduled for November 7.
What happens in Outer Banks Season 4 teaser trailer?
The initial trailer unveils Chase Stokes’ character, John B. Routledge, saying, “At last, we found the gold.” This seemingly concluding event hints at the end of the story, but instead of wrapping up, the character suggests that it marks the start of further journeys. Interestingly, unlike previous seasons, this time they stand to lose everything.
As a thrill-seeking teen myself, I stumbled upon a hidden truth from the past, which sparked a whirlwind of clandestine actions that led me on an unforgettable escapade I’ll always cherish. That’s the essence of the Outer Banks storyline.

For Season 4, all original cast members such as Stokes (as John), Madelyn Cline (Sarah), Rudy Pankow (JJ), Madison Bailey (Kie), Jonathan Daviss (Pope), and Carlacia Grant (Cleo) will rejoin the show. Additionally, Drew Starkey (Rafe), Austin North (Topper), Cullen Moss (Deputy Shoupe), and Fiona Palomo’s character Sofia (Sofia) will be returning as well, with Sofia now being a main cast member.
The Outer Banks series is set to make a comeback on October 10, followed by another episode on November 7 – approximately two years following the debut of Season 3. You can catch up on the previous seasons by streaming them exclusively on Netflix.
