In season 4, the Pogues enjoy a peaceful existence, overseeing Poguelandia 2.0, a refuge they’ve established, and managing a fishing equipment store that offers boat charters. However, their tranquility is disrupted when they encounter financial difficulties, compelling them to return to their treasure hunting ways.

Fortunately, JJ manages to escape with Kiara before Dalia can act.

Unfortunately, during their escape and search for a way out of the ruins, JJ and Kiara become separated. Later on, Groff, who is JJ’s biological father and was abandoned by John B. and Rafe at the well due to his untrustworthy behavior, resurfaces. He confronts Kiara, holding her at knifepoint. Upon arriving, JJ voluntarily gives the crown to Groff, explaining that there are greater values in life than material treasures.
