Take for example the stunning Priyamani from South Cinema and the captivating Vidya Balan of Bollywood – they’re actually second cousins! Can you imagine that? At various public appearances like media events and movie premieres, Priyamani, star of The Family Man series, frequently discusses her familial connection to Vidya Balan. Notably, Priyamani has also mentioned that their relationship isn’t as close as the bond between their respective parents.

In a 2010 interview with BehindWoods, Priyamani opened up about her relationship with Vidya Balan for the first time, sharing that their bond wasn’t particularly strong or close.

She mentioned that we don’t get together as frequently as her parents do. I’m tremendously pleased that she’s part of my family, and I hope she has a prosperous career ahead.

Whenever I find myself in Mumbai, I always reach out to him, hoping to one day meet Vidya herself. Our familial ties might be secondary, but as a fellow actor, I am immensely proud of her extraordinary talent and the remarkable body of work she has created. She is truly fabulous!
