Per Variety, this marks the first time that the Oscars will be available to watch live on Hulu.
According to an announcement made by ABC and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, there’s a major change coming that could revolutionize the way people can participate in one of the world’s most esteemed award shows. Furthermore, the 97th ceremony will be accessible for on-demand viewing on Hulu the day after, enabling more viewers to enjoy the grandeur of Hollywood’s biggest night.

What else do we know about the 2025 Oscars?
Raj Kapoor is set to return as both the Executive Producer and Showrunner for the upcoming Academy Awards. Katy Mullan holds the same title as an Executive Producer, and Hamish Hamilton will be in charge of directing the event.
The 97th Academy Awards will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien.
