As a long-time fan of both Oscar Isaac’s captivating performances and the timeless tales penned by Charles Dickens, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming animated masterpiece, “King of Kings.” Having grown up with Isaac’s enchanting portrayals in various films, it feels like a dream come true to witness him bring Jesus Christ to life in this unique adaptation.
The initial image for the first “King of Kings” production has been revealed, showcasing a sneak peek at the upcoming animated fantasy film, based on Charles Dickens’ lesser-known short story about the life and era of Jesus. In this movie, Oscar Isaac will be providing the voice for Jesus Christ. This project adds to Isaac’s growing list of faith-based films, having previously played Joseph, Jesus’ earthly father, in the 2006 biblical drama The Nativity Story.
