One Tree Entertainment’s psychological thriller titled “The Fostered,” created by independent filmmakers Gunnar Garrett and Ritchie Greer, will be unveiled with an exclusive trailer courtesy of ComingSoon. It is noteworthy that this marks the feature directorial debut for Gunnar Garrett.
The movie is a gripping psychological mystery that centers around a kind-hearted couple who adopt two orphaned twin girls, eventually discovering that these sisters are concealing something much more malevolent than their traumatic background. Following the heartbreaking murder-suicide of their parents, the sisters find themselves under the care of a nurturing foster mother and her disgruntled spouse. As the household becomes increasingly tumultuous, it remains uncertain whether the threat originates from the bitter foster father or the mysterious twins themselves.

When is The Fostered release date?
Beginning on June 24, 2025, the film “The Fostered” will be accessible for both rental and purchase across various digital platforms in the United States and Canada. The star-studded cast features Garrett portraying Eddie, Robert Palmer Watkins from General Hospital and The Walking Dead: World Beyond as Kevin, Robert Adamson (Hollywood Heights) as Steven, Brittany Underwood (One Life to Live) as Amy, Casey Webb (The Elevator) as Matt, Rinabeth Apostol (Just for Kicks) as Val, Savina Perey (Dhar Mann) as Morgan, Jodie Garrett (Abigail) as Heather, and Serena Perey (The Purple Glasses) as Madison.
This film is jointly directed by Garrett and Greer, with the added responsibility of screenwriting falling on Garrett himself. Gunnar Garrett, Jodie Garrett, Brenda Neitzel, and Lewis Neitzel serve as executive producers. The creative crew also comprises Truman Waller as cinematographer, Samuel Gill handling editing duties, and Jeff Markgraf contributing as an editor as well.
